Im Jahr 1983 kaufte ich mir mein erstes eigenes Instrument, ein Fender Rhodes E-Piano. Das erste Stück, das ich darauf komponierte, trug den Titel „Traces on a cloudy sky“. Es basierte auf einer durchkomponierten Bassfigur für die linke Hand, die Melodien der rechten Hand waren mehr oder weniger improvisiert. Drei Jahre später erschien es auf meiner ersten Solo-Produktion (eine Compact-Cassette mit dem Namen „Reaching Brighter Days“). Ada mag dieses Stück sehr, weshalb ich nun, fast 35 Jahre später, eine weitere Version davon aufgenommen habe.
In 1983, I bought my first own music instrument, a Fender Rhodes piano. The first track I composed on it was titled "Traces on a cloudy sky“. It was based on a composed bass figure for the left hand, the right hand was more or less improvised. Three years later it appeared on my very first solo production (a tape cassette named "Reaching Brighter Days“). Ada likes this one, so I recorded another version of it 35 years later.
